Light snow in southern counties this morning; More widespread snow tonight

This morning we will see some light snow in the southern portions of the Miami Valley, starting overnight and lingering into the morning. Snow accumulations will be less than an inch, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, but some slick spots will be possible that could affect the morning commute.

Otherwise, it will be a partly sunny Tuesday, with highs only reaching up near 35 degrees. After night falls, clouds will start to build up again, and we will see some strong winds, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Soon after midnight, the NWS predicted a chance of snow, which will continue through dawn tomorrow. Overnight temperatures will fall to around 24 degrees.

Wednesday morning, skies will be cloudy but gradually clear as the day goes on. The chance of flurries will last through most of the morning. Winds will be lighter but still breezy, and it will be a cold day with temperatures rising to around 31 degrees.

Wednesday night will be partly cloudy and breezy, with temperatures falling to around 25 degrees.

On Thursday, we will see some more sun, and temperatures will rise to around 43 degrees. After night falls, the NWS predicted that clouds will start to build again as temperatures fall to around 25 degrees.
