ENGLEWOOD – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) senior Josh Garver was recognized at the Dec. 13 Northmont Rotary meeting as the Student of the Month.

Garver is a senior in the Business Ownership program.

Garver was presented with a plaque by MVCTC Superintendent Nick Weldy. Garver shared his plans for after graduation. He plans on attending Liberty University in Virginia, majoring in global studies, minoring in business. Garver also plans on participating in missionary works following his college career.

As a student at MVCTC, Garver has been a student ambassador, Business Professionals of America (BPA) Chapter vice president, and a BPA regional officer.
