At 11:55 a.m., a Lebanon police dispatcher indicated the lockdown was initiated by a text from a student who had seen someone with a gun outside the school.

About 11:41 a.m., the district posted on Facebook: “LHS is currently on lockdown while a threat posted on social media is being investigated. This is for cautionary reasons.”
Yohey indicated he had been notified of the lockdown of the school at 1916 Drake Road in Lebanon about 11:15 a.m.
