Brickman plans to employ 39 at regional service center in Springboro

Brickman Landscaping is planning to employ 39 part- and full-time office and field staff in a 6,000-square foot light industrial building and storage yard at 45 Commercial Way in Springboro.

On Wednesday, Burkhardt Engineering Co., representing P.S. Four, the property owner, is to present a site plan for the project to the Springboro Planning Commission.

The property is currently a vacant 2.58-acre site with frontage on Commercial Way.

The Brickman Group wants to operate a commercial landscaping service center there.

The property is in an employment center district, a zoning designation that permits the proposed use.

The Springboro city limits coincide with the entire south property line and most of the east property line for the site.

The site is near Complete Grinding Solutions and Pontecorvo Dance Studio.

The commission meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Springboro City Hall, 320 W. Central Av. in Springboro.
