“We encourage the community to see the Premier Health Theater where the Springboro Community Theatre will make its new home and also check out the Springboro Chamber of Commerce and Center Stage Dance Studio,” City Manager Chris Pozzuto said. “The chamber and dance studio are moving into their spaces this weekend.”
On Wednesday, crews were paving the parking areas and completing “final interior and exterior building touch-ups,” according to Pozzuto.

Also at Wright Station, Dayton-based Warped Wing Brewing is expected to open a restaurant and taproom featuring barrel-aged and pilot beers in a building near the intersection. The brewery’s distribution is to be moved to the Springboro location.
On Thursday, Springboro’s city council is expected to authorize issuance of $4.5 million in “special obligation performing arts center bond anticipation notes.” The notes would be issued in anticipation of the sale of $4.5 million in bonds to finance the performing arts center project, according to city staff.
Once the project is complete, the notes will be converted to bonds, according to finance director Jonathan Hudson.

Over the next 30 years, the city is committing to paying off the principal and 2 percent in annual interest on the bonds. The cost to Springboro will be the $4.5 million principal and $90,450 in interest, according to Pozzuto.

Also Thursday, the council is expected to appoint Jack Hanson to council to replace Carol Dorsey, who resigned after remarrying and moving to Clearcreek Twp.
Council also is expected to vote on a three-year contract extension for Pozzuto, paying him $125,840 for the first year, with raises the second two years in line with those given to other staff.
The council is also scheduled to consider adding a sous chef and assistant food and beverage director at the Heatherwoode Golf Course.
