The Ohio primary election is Tuesday, March 17.

The Ohio Secretary of State’s Office issued a directive Tuesday mandating that all residential senior citizen facilities used as polling locations be relocated due to concerns related to the coronavirus, COVID-19.

Warren County uses four senior facilities as polling locations on Election Day. Three of these locations also are used for voting by voters residing outside the facility.

“We are notifying non-residential nursing home voters by mail that they have been temporary assigned to a new polling location. We have reached out to all these facilities to notify them of the polling location change,” according to a press release issued Tuesday by the Warren County Board of Elections.
