Through its Hero Care Network, the Red Cross provides help to service members, veterans and their families, including emergency communications and financial assistance, casualty travel assistance and counseling, the agency said.
“It’s our hope that this new office location at Wright-Patt will enable us to reach more military members and veterans than we have in the past,” Dayton Area Chapter Executive Cory Paul said in a statement.
Loretta Johanson, a 61-year Red Cross volunteer, staffs the office, the Red Cross said.
