MONROE, Ohio – During an April 30 raid of the flea market Traders World police seized 1,000 counterfeit products from 9 vendors.

The Monroe police department performed the counterfeit product compliance checks, or undercover buys, at nine booths for counterfeit Fox and Monster branded merchandise on April 23, said Monroe police Detective Ken Parson. The following weekend, on April 30, police “acted on that information.”

Items seized that were illegally branded included shirts, hats, jewelry, and decals. Police received a complaint from the brands after cease and desist orders were served to some of the vendors for selling the fake items.

Det. Parson said no arrests were made, but charges will be filed through Lebanon Municipal Court today on all nine booth owners and one employee.
