The driver of a box truck that crashed along I-70 west apparently suffered from a medical condition, a state patrol sergeant said.

The driver of the truck, which was carrying a liquid material used in foam insulation for residential structures, tried to take the ramp off I-70 west to state Route 127 when he lost control of the vehicle, Sgt. Frank Simmons Jr. said.
The truck continued through the grass about 500 feet, hit an embankment and overturned after smacking the crossbeam of the state Route 127 overpass, Simmons said.
"It looks like it was just a medical condition," the sergeant said, noting that paramedics were able to revive the man and get him to a hospital via medical helicopter. Simmons said the medic crew has learned the man has a history of heart problems.
His injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
A state EPA crew has been called in because two of the eight barrels of liquid insulation are leaking, Simmons said. The liquid is flammable, he said.
ODOT has an investigator on scene, inspecting damage to the crossbeam, which Simmons said does not appear to be significant.
