788th Civil Engineering Squadron: Ceremony marks change of command

Maj. Jonathan Polston assumed command of the 788th Civil Engineering Squadron during a ceremony in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base’s Fire Station 1 that was marked by COVID-19 precautions, including having most of the guests watch the event streamed online.

Missing was the traditional passing of the command guidon. Amir Mott, 88th Civil Engineer Group acting director, officiated the ceremony May 26, in which Lt. Col. Tyler Johnson relinquished command of the squadron.
