Staff and inmates at both jails were voluntarily able to be tested for the virus Monday.

Sheriff Dave Duchak said he received the results of those tests today and that no inmates tested positive.

The virus did not originate in the county’s jail, but is believed to have been spread at a birthday party that seven of the corrections officers attended.

It is not clear if the eighth corrections officer attended the birthday party.
