>> Man reportedly held captive in dog cage; 3 formally charged
Edwards, Parker and his daughter Lindsay Parker are charged with kidnapping and felonious assault in the case accusing them of keeping the man, a 22-year-old from Cincinnati, in the house for at least three days in October where he was beaten up and assaulted.
He was found at Dayton Children's Hospital after he reportedly escaped and drove off in an ambulance from a fire station near the Clearcreek Twp. house.
Edwards lived at the house where all three are accused of torturing the man. All three remain in the Warren County Jail in Lebanon. Edwards and Bryan Parker reached out to WCPO to give them a platform to make a statement about the case.
Bryan Parker claims he and Edwards were at the house shooting pool and the man, who reportedly had come to the house at the request of his ex-girlfriend, was not restrained or being detained.
"The door was never locked he was free to roam the house wherever the hell he wanted to go like the dude was never held captive period," Edwards said.
Both men said the house was an adult party house where drugs were being used.
"I don't know what's coming ahead of me but I just have to believe that the system does work," Bryan Parker said.
Edwards said he has yet to be questioned about the allegations.
