A historical marker was unveiled for Annie Oakley Saturday afternoon at the Zemer-Broderick Boarding House located at 227 E. Third Street, according to News Center 7 reporter Steve Baker.

This was the last place Annie Oakley lived before she passed away on November 3, 1926.

She was cremated, and her ashes were later buried in the Brock Cemetery north of Greenville.

Annie Oakley festivities will continue on Sunday at both the Garst Museum and the Darke County Fairground.
