Lemon-Ups is a new lemon cookie the features inspirational messages from Girl Scouts, according to the Girl Scouts website.

Lemonades is a lemon-iced shortbread cookie.

Pisacano is pictured on the box holding a solar panel that she installed at a Girl Scouts camp in New Jersey.

“The Girl Scouts place a strong emphasis on STEM-related fields and I’m really glad that they chose to picture me doing something that generates clean sources of energy,” she said.

Pisacano has been a Girl Scout since sixth grade and entered a contest her senior year of high school to be on the cover of a cookie box.

“I was involved with my troop a lot,” she said. “I earned the bronze, silver and gold awards in Girl Scouts. I think they also recognized my leadership for the work I do with the Girl Scouts’ summer camp.”

In addition to her geology major at Earlham College, Pisacano also studies chemistry and music. She is on the college’s cross country and lacrosse teams as well as a member of the equestrian co-op. Pisacano also previously was a part-time EMT at the Richmond Fire Department.

“The Girl Scouts has been a huge part of my life,” Pisacano said. “I learned skills and how to set goals that have carried me through to college and have helped me be successful here, too.”
