2 arrested, stolen Nissan recovered during traffic stop

Agents with a regional firearms and illicit drug task force arrested two of three people who were in a stolen vehicle that was stopped on I-75 this afternoon.

The newer Nissan car, which had Tennessee plates, was stopped at approximately 1:15 p.m. by the Ohio Highway Patrol on I-75 South in Butler Twp.

The car was stolen on New Year’s Eve from a rental company, according to an official at the scene.

Agents found some drugs and a digital scale in the vehicle.

Three people were in the vehicle. Two were arrested and one was let go.

The suspects’ identities have not been released.
