Each store will receive 54 one-liter bottles, one-third larger than the standard 750-ml “fifth.” The cost for each bottle will be $49.99 plus tax.
“We chose four batches, specifically for our bourbon aficionados in Ohio with the help of (Woodford Reserve) Assistant Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall,” Canepa wrote.

Here’s how the division of liquor control described the particular batch of Woodford Reserve that will be available at Arrow: “Tasting notes of warm cinnamon brown sugar and cedarwood. Its aroma brings a mouth-watering cherry apple pie and roasted coffee sprinkled with nutmeg.”
This is the second time the Ohio Division of Liquor Control has partnered with Woodford Reserve, and this week’s blend has been named Buckeye Blend No. 2. Buckeye Blend No. 1 was released in January 2018.

In addition to the Arrow store at 2950 Far Hills Ave. at Dorothy Lane, the special bourbon offering will be available at individual stores in Akron, Cincinnati, Columbus, Mentor, North Lima, Powell and Toledo. The full list or retailers can be found in the Ohio Liquor Insiders Bulletin.
