Bakery sets vigil Tuesday for missing boy, late mom

The bakery where Nichelle McKnight worked is planning a vigil Tuesday night.

McKnight's body was found Friday morning near the Stillwater River bank. The 25-year-old was presumed dead, as is her 4-year-old son Zaden; the search for his remains continues.

The vigil will be held at 8 p.m. at the bakery, Ele Cake Co., 810 E. Dixie Drive in West Carrollton.

"We wanted to do something to keep Zaden's precious face out there," said MaryAnne Lemons, who also works at the bakery. "We were all hoping that he would be with his mother.

"We're all still in shock," she said, adding that they're still praying and hoping Zaden would be found alive.

McKnight and her son had been missing since late March.
