Beavercreek budgets $5.8M in road construction projects

Beavercreek residents can expect to see some significant road construction projects this year.

City leaders announced they have budgeted about $5.8 million in road construction improvements for the year.

Major thoroughfares that are slated to get improvements include National, Indian Ripple, North Fairfield and Shakertown roads.

Work to widen Dayton-Xenia and Shakertown roads is ongoing and expected to be wrapped up by the summer.

In addition, officials said the city is aiming to beat last year’s record total of “16 centerline miles” that were resurfaced.
