Beavercreek Try a Truck event, Fire Department Open House today

The City of Beavercreek will be hosting two events today until around 1:00 p.m.

Try a Truck - located at the Municipal Maintenance Facility, 789 Orchard Lane, allows children to see vehicles up close, such as a forklift, street sweeper, fire truck, police cruiser, trash truck, tow truck, and more. The Bat Mobile, Bat Cycle Joker Mobile will be on display and Batman, Robin, and Bat Girl will also be there.

Beavercreek Twp. Fire Department Fire Prevention Open House - located at the Beavercreek Fire Station No. 61, 2195 Dayton-Xenia Road, activities includes a chili cook-off and visitors can check out fire equipment, see CareFlight and more.

Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini will also be debuting the new Storm Tracker 7 weather vehicle at the Try a Truck event until 1:00 p.m.
