>> Fourth of July: Which communities will (and won’t) have fireworks
However, the fireworks show will be different for spectators with social distancing requirements in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
While the show has always been in Rotary Park, this year it will be at the Mall at Fairfield Commons.
“After the Memorial Day tornadoes of 2019 and then COVID-19 this year, people need to come together for a time of celebration,” Beavercreek City Manager Pete Landrum stated in a release.
Before the fireworks show, Mister C will perform a show filled with experiments and comedy. Log on to the city’s Facebook page at 9 p.m. to catch the show.
Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. Tune in to 103.7 FM for music during the fireworks show.
During the fireworks show, spectators are asked to maintain six-feet social distancing and to stay within designated parking spots. There will be no restrooms available.
Sponsors include Synergy Building Systems, Kettering Health Network, Woolpert, Tree Care, Reichley Insurance, SIBCO Ltd., Brian Jarvis, Beavercreek Park District and Radiance Technologies.
