Birthday party for ‘most photographed girl’ open to public

Zoe Dell Nutter turns 100; helps build Wright Brothers monument

Some birthdays are monumental, and one birthday party will help build a monument.

Zoe Dell Nutter — actress, model, dancer, pilot and philanthropist — turns 100 on June 14. A party in her honor, open to the public, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Commander Aero’s hangar at Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport in Miami Twp. Proceeds from the party support a project to build a Wright Brothers monument at the intersection of Interstates 70 and 75.

Referred to as “the most photographed girl in the world,” Nutter is the widow of Ervin J. Nutter, chief executive and president of aircraft parts manufacturer Elano Corp. Wright State University’s arena is named after him.

Single tickets start at $150 per person. Tickets and table reservations can be purchased at www.WrightMonument.org.
