Officers pulled over the vehicle Wallace was driving Nov. 30 after they said the license plate on the vehicle was expired, according to the incident report.
The 17-year-old was a passenger in the vehicle and an off-duty officer, who was riding along with the Butler Twp. officer, said he saw the 17-year-old with a gun after he stepped out of the car, according to the police report.
“That guy has got a gun,” the off-duty officer said, according to the report.

A countywide call for extra officers was initiated as the officer chased the juvenile.
The 17-year-old was taken into custody near the Sprint store and the gun was recovered in the area of the HER Realtors office, both on York Commons Boulevard.
Wallace was arraigned on his charges Monday and his bond was set at $50,000. He was appointed a public defender and scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Thursday.
The 17-year-old was taken to the juvenile detention center and faces a CCW violation charge. He entered a denial plea and was released from custody Tuesday on electronic home detention, court officials said. He’s due back in court on Thursday.
