Candlelight vigil, balloon release held for teen killed in Miamisburg home invasion

Family and friends gathered Sunday night to remember a teen that was gunned down in a Miamisburg apartment.

A candlelight vigil and balloon release was organized in remembrance of 18-year-old Noah Kinser.

Kinser was found dead at an apartment last month on North First Street.

Officers say two men tried to rob Kinser before firing shots and taking off.

Friends of Kinser said he was well-liked and excited about the future.

“He was quiet, he was sweet, he was really smart. He had a sweet, soft smile,” said co-worker Ashley Glasener.

So far, officers haven’t said if anyone’s been arrested in connection to the homicide.
