Car fire shuts down Warren County highway for 2 hours

State troopers are investigating a car fire late Saturday afternoon in Warren County that closed Ohio 63 for about two hours.

Dispatchers at the Ohio Highway Patrol’s Lebanon Post said the car was reported to be engulfed at 4:56 p.m. on Ohio 63 in front of the Warren Correctional Institution in Turtlecreek Twp.

The driver of a Toyota SUV told troopers that he was struck by another car, according to the dispatcher. Troopers said that no one was injured.

The eastbound lane was reopened at 6:15 p.m. and troopers cleared the scene at 6:41 p.m.

No other information was available from the highway patrol.
