The passing of the historic Montgomery County Old Courthouse offers a teaching moment for participants to recognize the building as the rule of law and the statue of Abraham Lincoln out front as a symbol of freedom, organizers said.
After dispersing, families are encouraged to picnic in a park, while following social distancing and wearing face masks.
Other events are scheduled for Saturday include:

- A "protestival" is from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at McIntosh Park at Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and Riverview Avenue in Dayton. Masks are encouraged for the event that will include music, food, art and pride, according to a flyer.
