Catholic school staff from around the area honored

Nearly 600 school employees attended the 21st Annual Teacher Recognition Banquet honoring school staff in Catholic schools from Middletown to St. Mary’s.

Archdiocese of Cincinnati interim School Superintendent Patricia Armstrong was the keynote speaker during the May 4 event at the Presidential Banquet Center in Kettering. Dean of the Dayton Deanery, Rev. David Brinkmoeller, who is also the pastor at St. Helen and Immaculate Conception parishes in Dayton, delivered the blessing.

Educators with five to more than 45 years of service were honored.

Sister Mary Alice Stein, Carroll High School (Dayton) was recognized for 47 years of service.
