Celina tornado: Crown committed to rebuilding following twister

Crown Equipment Corporation, which had its Celina plant heavily damaged during the tornado on Sunday, announced it is committed to restoring production to the plant.

“Cleanup and recovery activities are underway and Crown is committed to restoring production at the plant,” the company said in a release.

The company said they’ve had a team working on a recovery plan for the facility since the storm hit.

Power has been restored to the facility and Crown's contractors and suppliers are lending their support by provided resources, the company said.

Crown also thanked the local authorities and first responders who provided support and continue to support the community.
