Chilly Saturday brings break from rain; Chance of showers tomorrow

After the past few days’ storms, today will finally see a break in the rain, with partly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Temperatures will be cold, however, with the high only reaching around 42 degrees after two days of temperatures in the high 60s. Tonight, temperatures will drop again, to a low of around 28 degrees.

Tomorrow, however, we will see a day of increasing clouds, with a chance of showers arriving in the afternoon. Highs will remain colder, around 47 degrees. Tomorrow night, showers will continue, though they are expected to clear out by Monday morning. Low temperatures will be around 36 degrees.

Monday will be clear of the rain, but still will bring us mostly cloudy skies. We will see temperatures near 52 degrees during the day, dropping to around 37 degrees Monday night.
