Rumpke will deliver new recycling and trash carts that are the same size as resident's currents receptacles, and the old receptacles will be removed by Waste Management.
Collection days will remain the same, but pick up times may change.
"We are excited to work with Rumpke. Providing quality, cost-effective service to our residents is our ultimate goal, and Rumpke understands our mission," said Assistant City Manager Steve Bergstresser.
Weekly collection service levels will remain the same, including: regular curbside automated service, subscription house-side service and income eligible senior rate service.
More information about the transition will be provided by the City of Kettering and Rumpke in the coming months.
