Clayton to shut off water for street work

The city of Clayton is warning residents that their water might be shut off for short periods of time over the next few days to replace a water main line.

On Tuesday, residents on Fairlawn, Foursome Court, Sydenham and Seville from Fairlawn to Pebble Brook streets will experience short periods of time where there water is shut off for the work.

On Thursday, residents on Templehurst, Stranwood and Skylark from Taywood to Rushleigh will have their water turned off for short time periods for their water main to be replaced.

The city says that the pavement, curbs and driveways will be restored by Thanksgiving. This is all weather permitting.
