The city’s commemorative clock tower is once again counting time at at the intersection of North Fairfield and Dayton-Xenia roads.

The city announced the 25th anniversary clock tower’s return today after it was taken down March 16 for repairs to the clock head.

The weather seal on the top catch failed, which allowed water to enter and led the housing to crack, according to a release from the city.

Repairs also included replacing the clock’s controller and servicing the unit.
