Clouds to break for some sun today, tomorrow

We are expected to see a break from the rain today as cloudy skies gradually break up for some sun, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. We will see some more clouds tonight but should stay dry. Temperatures during the day will rise to around 63 degrees, and drop to around 48 degrees overnight.

Tomorrow we will see another sunny day with a high near 71 degrees. However, later tomorrow night we have a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with temperatures dropping to around 59 degrees.

Sunday the chance of showers and storms will continue, with chances of showers and thunderstorms rising in the afternoon. Otherwise skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 74 degrees.

The rain is predicted to continue into the night, before gradually coming to an end in the early hours of Monday. Temperatures overnight will fall to around 50 degrees.
