A popular Dayton disc jockey was dead in her Harrison Township apartment. Now, 17 years later, many have been questioned, but the case remains unsolved. On the radio, she was Nikki Brooks, but to her family and friends, she was Kelly Dee Wilson. READ MORE
3. Disappearance of Erica Baker
For the past 18 years, the disappearance of Erica Baker has been the Miami Valley's biggest mysteries. "It's a mystery maybe to some people but it's our job to find her and we want to bring her home," said Sgt. Bob Greene, of the Kettering Police Department. "It's about a little girl. a little girl who was taken from her family at the age of 9. It's a tragedy." READ MORE
4. Slaying of 12-year-old Marvin Lee King
The anonymous phone calls warned that a man’s body would be found in a ditch along West Possum Road.
It took Clark County sheriff's deputies four hours to find that body, which was in a field far from the road, and wasn't that of a man, but of a 12-year-old boy: Marvin Lee King, known as Beau. Forty years later, his slaying remains unsolved. READ MORE
Katelyn Markham disappeared from her condo on Aug. 13, 2011. Her skeletal remains were found at a dump site in a wooded area in rural Indiana in 2013. A coroner ruled her death a homicide, but the cause of death remains unknown. Markham was last seen alive by her fiance, John Carter, who reported her missing. READ MORE
6. Nikki Lyn Forrest’s bizarre disappearance

Nikki Lyn Forrest was 4 and a half months pregnant when she vanished. Forrest, 19, who had been somewhat transient during the previous year, disappeared Sept. 25, 2010. That day, she had two arguments in two Miami County cities, one in Piqua and one in Troy. READ MORE
A 40-year-old unsolved homicide is getting a new look from police, and a local mother hopes her efforts will bring in tips for other cold cases like it. Nancy Theobald’s body was found in December 1977 in West Chester Twp. after she went missing from her Cincinnati neighborhood.
Theobald was a University of Cincinnati student when she left her part-time job at Arby's in Clifton to walk home on Nov. 16, 1977. She was never seen alive again. READ MORE
