“Through CCAO, Ohio’s 88 counties work together to advocate for efficient and effective government, and to exchange best practices that benefit taxpayers,” Gould said. “I want to ensure that our region, as well as mid-sized counties, continue to have a voice at the state level.”
During Gould’s time as treasurer, he was actively involved in the County Treasurers Association of Ohio, consecutively serving on its Legislative Committee.
Last year, Gould was an active member of CCAO, serving on both the Taxation and Finance Committee and the Jobs, Economic Development and Infrastructure Committee, according to a release. Locally, he represents the commissioners at the Dayton Development Coalition and on the Local Corrections Planning Board.
