DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: It will stay dry and cool overnight under mostly clear skies, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Lows will drop to around 40 degrees.

Tuesday: A dry start to the day is expected ahead of increasing clouds into the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 50s, which is warmer than normal. The first chance for rain arrives in the late afternoon and evening. A line of steadier showers will move in overnight with some rumbles of thunder possible by morning. Winds will increase greatly with gusts up to 30 mph possible. Low temperatures will only fall to around 50 degrees. Scattered showers and even a thunderstorm is possible into the evening.

Wednesday: A High Wind Watch is in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Scattered showers will end quickly, though winds will stay strong through the day. Gusts will range from 40 to 50 mph. Highs will be in the upper 50s in the morning and fall quickly.

Thanksgiving: Weather looks good overall. Highs will be in the low 40s Thursday, which is a little cooler than normal, but it should stay dry. Winds won't be strong, either, so it will be a good day for traveling.

Friday: We will have a dry start for Black Friday shoppers. Highs will be in the middle 40s, and clouds will increase. Some showers will be possible late at night.

Saturday: Scattered showers and windy conditions are expected. Highs will be in the lower to middle 50s.
