Throughout the pandemic, there have been 5,811 hospitalizations and 1,516 ICU admissions in Ohio.
On Thursday, the state released guidelines for county fairs and junior fair exhibitions. Earlier this week, Montgomery and Butler counties announced the cancellation of their respective county fairs. Both are looking into a way for junior fair members to complete their projects.
Gov. Mike also announced on Thursday that assisted living centers and intermediate care centers for those with developmental disabilities can resume outdoor visitation starting June 8.

The governor noted that the last two months of no visitors have been hard on people in assisted living care, nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.
He said the state is looking at resuming visits in phases as the state continues to increase its testing, particularly in nursing homes.
