There have been 6,500 hospitalizations and 1,668 ICU admissions reported during the pandemic in Ohio.
Last week, Gov. Mike DeWine announced that aquariums, art galleries, country clubs, ice skating rinks, indoor family entertainment centers, indoor sports facilities, laser tag, indoor movie theaters, museums, outdoor playgrounds, public recreation centers, roller skating rinks, social clubs, trampoline parks and zoos can reopen starting June 10.
On June 19, amusement parks, water parks, outdoor theaters, casinos and racinos will be able to open.
Today is the first day that assisted living centers and intermediate care facilities for those with developmental disabilities are able to resume outdoor visitations in over two months.
Nursing homes and other care facilities, which are particularly vulnerable to the virus, still cannot have visitations.

Last week the governor also announced that the state is increasing testing in nursing homes, starting with ones that have a history with coronavirus. All staff will be tested, with residents being tested as needed.
DeWine is expected to hold a press briefing on the pandemic and the state’s response Tuesday afternoon.
