A DP&L employee has tested positive for coronavirus, the company said in a release. The employee was experiencing symptoms last week and informed DP&L they had tested positive yesterday.

The employee had last been at work on March 13, the day DP&L began telecommuting for any non-essential employees. The company helped develop a list of people who the employee had contacted between March 1 and March 13.

The company said they contacted those people and informed them to be aware of any possible symptoms of COVID-19. They also notified anyone who would continue to work at the building. An environmental contractor has already cleaned and sanitized the exposed areas in the building, the release said.
