The county has 13 confirmed cases, with 10 associated with a nursing home, Greenville Health and Rehabilitation, which has 92 certifed beds, according to the health department and state records.

It is with great sadness that we announce the county’s first death, a 76-year-old man, who tested positive for COVID-19. While there are no words that can mend a grieving heart, we do extend our deepest sympathies to the family.
