Coronavirus: Darke County reports 6th COVID-19-related death

There are now six deaths connected to the coronavirus in Darke County, where there also is a cluster of cases linked to a nursing home.

The Darke County General Health District has reported the death of someone who tested positive for COVID-19 for each of the last two days, plus three deaths on Friday and the first on March 30.

The deaths involve four men and two women; four were 80 or older and two between 70 and 79, according to data from the Ohio Department of Health.

Darke County has 32 confirmed cases, with 27 linked to Greenville Health and Rehabilitation, the county health agency said. Two other cases are associated with Village Green Health Campus senior living community and three cases are unrelated to each other, the health district said reported.

Across the county, the positive cases involve 20 women and 12 men, ODH data shows.
