Coronavirus: Darke County reports 7th death linked to Greenville nursing home

There have now been seven nursing home patients who tested positive for the coronavirus to die in Darke County.

The Darke County General Health District reported the most recent death Wednesday, and said that all seven were associated with the Greenville Health and Rehabilitation facility.

There are 38 confirmed cases, with 31 linked to the cluster of cases at the nursing home.

Two more cases are of people at Village Green Health Campus, and five others that are unrelated to each other, health officials said.

There also are three hospitalizations in Darke County, according to Ohio Department of Health data.

Preble County reported its first death on Wednesday linked to the coronavirus. The county has eight confirmed cases with three hospitalizations, ODH reported.
