Coronavirus: Warren County up to 116 cases with 9 deaths, 18 in hospital

The Ohio Department of Health reported a total of 116 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including nine deaths and 18 hospitalizations, on Monday in Warren County.

Six of the fatal victims were 80 or more years old, with the other three 70 to 79 years old. Six were men, three women.

Monday’s confirmed case death total nearly doubled the five deaths reported last Friday. There were 23 more confirmed cases than on Friday.

Overall, 47 of the cases were 40 to 59 years old, only 27 70 or older, according to the state.

Local health officials continued to encourage “social distancing” to “stop the spread.”
