With a Feb. 14 property tax deadline rapidly approaching, the Montgomery County Treasurer’s Office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday for taxpayers to make payments outside of normal business hours.

“We know our taxpayers are busy and some just don’t have the time to get down to our office during the week,” said Montgomery County Treasurer Russ Joseph.

The office is on the second floor of the Montgomery County Administration Building, 451 W. Third St., Dayton.

Taxpayers can pay with cash, by check, debit or credit card. While in the office, taxpayers can set up a monthly payment plan to make delinquent or future tax payments.

The Feb. 14 deadline is a taxpayer’s last chance to pay property taxes and avoid the penalties of a late payment. Payments can be made in person, by mail or online at www.mctreasurer.org. The treasurer’s website provides a property search page and option to pay by electronic check or debit and credit card.

Regular office hours are 8 a.m. to 5p.m., Monday through Friday. Taxpayers are welcome to contact the Treasurer's Office by email at Taxpayer-Services@mcohio.org, by phone at (937) 225-4010 or online at www.mctreasurer.org.
