UPDATE @ 11:10 a.m.: 

Cold temperatures prompted a call for more firefighters to help extinguish a house fire that broke out in Union Thursday morning.

Firefighters were first dispatched to the house in the 3300 block of Phillipsburg-Union Road around 8 a.m. and reported smoke and flames coming from the structure.

No one was at the home when the fire broke out, firefighters said. The house was being renovated following an October crash when a pickup truck slammed into the house, firefighters said.

No injuries were reported.

Additional firefighters were requested to the scene to rotate crews due to cold temperatures Thursday morning, officials said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Firefighters continue to work to extinguish a house fire that broke out on Phillipsburg-Union Road in Union Thursday morning.

Heavy flames and smoke were coming through the roof of the house while crews continued to battle the blaze.

The house was under renovation, according to initial reports. The house was damaged in October after a pickup truck crashed into it.

Firefighters have responded to reports of a fire in a house on Phillipsburg-Union Road in Union Thursday morning, according to initial reports.

The fire was reported in a house in the 3300 block of Phillipsburg-Union Road around 8 a.m.

Initial reports indicate smoke and flames were found by firefighters when they arrived on scene and the house appears to be under renovation.

No injuries have been initially reported.

In October, the same house sustained significant damage after a pickup truck crashed into it.
