Smoke in a shop at The Greene blamed on motor of rooftop HVAC unit

UPDATE @ 8:16 p.m.: A problem with a rooftop HVAC unit is being investigated as the probable cause of smoke that got into the Salons @ The Greene II, at The Greene, a Beavercreek firefighter said.

There were no injuries, just light smoke that made its way into the shop on Magnolia Lane, the firefighter and business owner said.

Other businesses at The Greene appeared to be operating normally during the incident and the investigation.

INITIAL REPORT

Crews are on the scene of a reported working structure fire in the 800 block of Magnolia Lane, at The Greene in Beavercreek.

The dispatch was made about 6:15 p.m. There are no reports of injuries.
