No one was home and no firefighters were injured in putting out the blaze in the structure just east of the residence.
Four propane tanks in the barn exploded in the fire, the chief said, but that did not result in any injuries.
The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation, he said.
INITIAL REPORT
Fire crews are on the scene of a fully engulfed barn fire in the 5900 block of Wood Avenue in Greenville Twp., where there are as many as four propane tanks either inside or outside near the structure.

The fire was reported just after 9 p.m. There are no reports of any injuries.
We're hearing from Greenville police and fire dispatch that there is no one in the house or the barn.
