• The Little York Tavern at 4120 Little York Road just off I-75 in Butler Twp. is teaming up with a local band, Mad Hatter, to raise funds for Oregon District Tragedy Fund starting at 9 p.m. this Friday night, Aug. 9.

Mad Hatter will be donating its performance fee, the tavern will be donating 10 percent of sales for Friday, and donations from patrons will be collected to benefit shooting victims and their families, tavern officials said.
• Salar Restaurant and Lounge in the Oregon District said on its Facebook page Tuesday that it is “opening an hour early every day this week to invite our town and its visitors to celebrate the opportunity to come together. Our featured #DaytonStrong menu, of which 100% of the proceeds are being donated to The Oregon District Tragedy Fund, will vary daily.”
“Help us all come together for a good and honorable cause,” Little York Tavern said on the pub’s Facebook page.

• La Puf Sweets bakery at 1003 Shroyer Road at the Dayton-Oakwood border said on its Facebook page that it will donate 10 percent of sales all this week, along with 100 percent of all tips, to the Oregon District Tragedy Fund.
• All week, Partial to Pie at 200 Shroyer Road is donating $1 for every pie slice sold to the Oregon District Tragedy Fund, its founders announced on the bakery’s Facebook page.
• El Meson restaurant in West Carrollton will be donating 10% of sales to the Oregon District Tragedy Fund through Friday, Aug. 9.
• Troll Pub Dayton at 216 Wayne Ave. will host a an event Sunday night, Aug. 11, at which Happy Hour specials will be available from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the pub will be raffling off prizes to raise money for a victim relief fund.
• The Spaghetti Warehouse restaurant in downtown Dayton — which is in the midst of a significant renovation as it gears up for a 40th anniversary celebration next year — will donate the profits from all sales today, Wednesday Aug. 7, to the Oregon District Tragedy Fund at the Dayton Foundation, the restaurant’s franchise owner announced.
“Help us as we stay #DaytonStrong in the midst of this terrible tragedy,” the restaurant’s operators said in a release.
“We want to be a part of the rebuilding of our community,” franchise owner Michael Kim told this news outlet Tuesday.
• Esther Price Candies on Wednesday will donate all in-store sales of its products to families of the victims of Dayton’s mass shooting.All seven Dayton and Cincinnati locations are participating.
The shooting affected many who work for the Dayton-based candy maker known for its fine chocolates. Some Esther Price employees knew the victims, according to a statement released Tuesday evening from the company. Also, a company factory is near the location of the shooting, which happened in the 400 block of East Fifth Street.
“Since 1926, Esther Price has been a Dayton tradition," said Doug Dressman, executive vice president of Esther Price. “Our hearts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families. We are proud of the Dayton community and hurt when it hurts.”
• The Dayton Dragons raised nearly $12,500 in cash donations for the Oregon District Tragedy Fund over the course of two days through "pass the bucket" collections and the 50/50 raffle proceeds, the minor-league baseball team said on its Facebook page.
• The Cakery of Dayton at 140 Woodman Drive is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from sales of a special “Dayton Strong” cupcake to the Oregon District Tragedy Fund through today, Wednesday Aug. 7, the bakery said on its Facebook page.
“We will donate $200 at minimum,” the bakery said. “But we hope it’s more than that. Let’s all come together to support, honor, and remember.”
• Papa John’s will donate $1 from each order placed online or in-store on Thursday, Aug. 8 to the Oregon District Tragedy Fund.
• Pizza Hut is accepting customer donations through the month of August and will match those donations up to $10,000 for victims of the Oregon District mass shooting, Pizza Hut’s Dayton-area franchisee, Hallrich Inc., said in a release on Wednesday, Aug. 7.
“Our hearts go out to those affected in our community and want to help in this time of sadness,” Ginger Kiefer, Pizza Hut district manager, said in a release.
Hallrich Inc., based in Stow, Ohio, operates all Dayton-area Pizza Huts and about two-thirds of the pizza chain’s locations in Ohio.
• Willowdale Botanicals, which operates a booth at the 2nd Street Market in downtown Dayton, announced on its Facebook page that it is donating the profits of its Body Butter and Heal & Seal salve to the Oregon District Tragedy Fund. The shop is open Thursday and Friday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
