The incident was reported in the area of Warner and Grove avenues.
The child was crying and no adults were in the area, according to records.
The child, who the caller estimated to be around 2-years-old, was taken onto the bus and kept there until police arrived.
“We have the child safe,” the caller said.
Dispatch records indicated the mother of the child was found, however it’s not clear whether any charges are being pursued in the incident.
