"Quality Christian education is a choice many families in our communities are seeking, and facilities such as the one we are planning are needed to support the athletic and wellness component of their search," said John Gredy, Ed.D., director of development and community relations. "Most importantly, the new center will enable our 250 athletes to play home games on their own campus. Currently, athletes travel up to 20 miles away for home basketball and volleyball games."
Dr. Gredy was hired by the school this past fall with one of his main priorities being the construction of a gymnasium and wellness center, according to a statement released by the school.
Dayton Christian will unveil details of the project – including its proposed name – at its campus on Feb. 27. Students, faculty and supporters will join together for “Warrior Day,” at which a news conference will be held to unveil 40-day capital campaign, known as “Building for the Future.”
