The Dayton Foundation has created a Dayton Oregon District Tragedy Fund to benefit victims of the Aug. 4, 2019 mass shooting.

The Dayton Daily News is partnering with the Dayton Foundation to raise money to help victims of the tragic mass shooting in the Oregon District. Nine people were killed and dozens injured when a gunman opened fire Aug. 4 in the popular Dayton entertainment district.

Please help us support our community by donating to the Dayton Foundation’s Oregon District Tragedy Fund. Money will be used to support the needs of those affected by the event.

HERE’S HOW TO HELP

The Dayton Oregon District Tragedy Fund at the Dayton Foundation is accepting online credit-card gifts as well as checks by mail.

Individuals interested in contributing to the fund may make a secure, online credit card donation here, or mail a check to The Dayton Foundation, 40 N. Main Street, Suite 500, Dayton, OH 45423. "Dayton Oregon District Tragedy Fund" or "Fund #8365" should be designated on the check or in the fund name field.

For online donations, the foundation will waive the credit card processing fee so 100 percent of the contribution will be used to assist others.
